This is the ultimate Christmas fudge! Authentic flavor made with peppermint and white chocolate.

    ❤️Why I love this recipe

This peppermint fudge makes a wonderful addition to your Christmas celebrations. Not only will it add a festive feel to the holiday season, but it will also look great on your dessert table. If you love peppermint, you’ll love this delicious fudge. It’s easy to make and requires few ingredients, so it’s perfect for gifts. We love making gift bags for our neighbors every year, so we make this in bulk and put a few in each gift bag. It’s great to be able to eat a variety of sweets during the Christmas season.

Food coloring in this recipe is completely optional. I didn’t use it because it would make the fudge more pink. Instead of crushing candy canes, you can buy bags of crushed peppermints at the store. This makes this much easier and is usually available during the holiday season.

    ⭐Tips

I omitted the food coloring in this recipe to make the fudge whiter. If you want it to be more pink, add food coloring. We love this fudge cold so we store it in the fridge.

This peppermint fudge is perfect for Christmas entertaining. Really delicious with only 5 ingredients!

3 1/2 cup white chip I used Nestlé Toll House Premier White Morsels.1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk1 1/2 cup finely ground peppermint candy cane See note1/2 teaspoon peppermint extractCouple drops red food coloring option

Line an 8-inch square plate with aluminum foil. Grease the foil with butter or margarine. Combine potato chips and milk in a saucepan and heat over medium heat, stirring frequently to prevent burning. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in crushed candy cane and extract.

Pour into an 8×8 dish. If you use food coloring, you can add it along with the candy cane, but I find that it turns the fudge pink. It was like dipping a toothpick in food coloring and stirring it into the candy in the dish. Place in the refrigerator for about 1 1/2 hours or until the fudge is firm and can be cut with a knife. Makes about 24 pieces.

I used 18 pieces that were about 6 inches long. I don’t like peppermint chunks in my fudge. I ground the coffee in a coffee grinder. You can also put it in a plastic bag and crush it with a rolling pin.
You can also buy 8-ounce bags of crushed peppermint during the holidays to make it even easier.
