You can use canned whole cranberry sauce or jellied cranberry sauce for this recipe. This time I made it with jelly-like cranberry sauce, but either will work! I make this using Lipton’s Onion Soup Mix, but if you don’t want to use that, you can always make your own… here’s the recipe.

⭐Tips
When cooking turkey breast in the slow cooker, leave the grill on. This will help keep the turkey breast shape. Since this recipe is very watery, it will fall apart easily, so if you are slicing it onto a plate, we recommend eating it as is. Also, some turkey breasts come with a packet of gravy. I didn’t use it in this recipe. I recommend leaving it as is and pouring gravy over the mashed potatoes.
Let’s finish our meal

For many years, we have had a non-traditional Thanksgiving. We served a variety of dishes and everyone really liked them. You don’t have to go the traditional route.

crockpot cranberry turkey breast
This simple crockpot turkey breast is perfect for feeding a few people. It’s very simple and only requires a handful of ingredients, so it’s perfect for a quick holiday snack.
Place the turkey breast (covered) in the slow cooker and pour the melted butter over it.
Mix together the dried onion mix and 1 can of cranberry sauce and pour over the turkey breast.
Cook on low for 6 to 7 hours or on high for 3 hours or until turkey tests with a meat tester (it should reach 165 degrees).
Once done, remove from the gravy and remove the net. Slice and place on a plate. Take the other can of cranberry sauce and spoon it over the turkey breast. If you prefer, you can also put the gravy in a gravy boat and pour it over the turkey. (Gravy is best served with mashed potatoes)
The turkey breast came with a packet of gravy, but we didn’t use it. It might also be delicious served over mashed potatoes.
